Spring
This season's spring windows were inspired by hollyhocks, featuring a beautiful composition of blooms and buds. I was still a visual assistant for this window, and got to do a lot of the prep while our display artist Ajay was helping at the spring prototype. Almost right after this window, Ajay moved to another store and I was offered the job! I picked up where he left off, and took over for spring interior display.

Summer
Tropical nature inspired elements set the scene for this summer window, featuring large sculptural palm trees and flamingos. Grounded in white, they were treated with an artful color application and gold details.
This was my first solo window, I lovingly remember it as “the flamingo fiasco.” There were plenty of lessons learned and things figured out in the moment. Looking back, I wish I had more pictures of this install. It was far from perfect, but I love looking back and seeing my own growth.

Gingko
This season was centered around the gingko tree. A neutral backdrop of raw wood branches, and natural string that faded softly to yellow created a backdrop that allowed the vibrant wood gingko leaves to shine.

The Early Days - 2018
Before I was the Display Artist, I spent just over a year as the Visual Sales Associate. During this time, I got to assist our Display Artist Ajay with display prep and installs, and learn some tricks of the trade. Below are some projects from the early days with Ajay.
